A webinar on CLTs in the Global South

On October 27, 2022, the Favela Community Land Trust Project held the webinar “New Paths for Building Sustainable Cities: The Potential of Collective Land Management Based on the Community Land Trust“, bringing together CLT organizers with a focus on practices rooted in the Global South.

We debated the potential of the model for establishing sustainable cities in line with SDG #11, as part of Urban October 2022, a UN-Habitat initiative for the dissemination of events that explore topics such as the right to housing and the city, and in partnership with World CLT Day, organized by the Center for CLT Innovation.

With the support of World Habitat, urbaMonde, Habitat International Coalition and the Center for CLT Innovation.
