Join us at the International Social Housing Festival in Barcelona, June 7-9
UpdatedCoHabitat Network organise a series of events around community-led housing at the International Social Housing Festival in Barcelona.
ISHF is an initiative by Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing, and its members and allies, present in 25 countries and encompassing 25 million dwellings, 11% of the housing stock in the European Union.
This year, the Festival will focus on the lessons to be learned from mature as well as emerging housing systems vis-à-vis emerging social and economic challenges across the world, with a special focus on Southern Europe and extensive participation from the rest of the continent, Asia, Latin America and North America.
Registration is free, join us! Promoting and enabling communityled housing is key to guaranteeing the right to adequate housing and the right to the city, and to ensuring that residents are at the core of the processes that shape their habitat and cities.
The sessions organised by the Network provide opportunities for peer learning, knowledge exchange and project documentation, increasing the visibility of collaborative housing solutions among social and public housing providers, citizens and public authorities alike.
Past editions have proven successful in bringing together a variety of actors working to promote resident-driven, permanently affordable and sustainable housing solutions.

ISHF 2023 is the fourth edition of an international event that gathers more than 1,000 social and affordable housing providers, policymakers, urban planners, architects, activists, researchers as well as fellow organizations dedicated to decent and affordable housing worldwide.
